I need a vacation like nobody's business. I have not had a week off since June of 07, and I probably won't get one until this next summer. I am ready to kill someone. Every teeny little thing that someone in my office says makes steam come out of my ears. I really feel like I am going to lose it. Where I work it is just one big room with 6 desks, so there is a lot of togetherness. I love it here, and I like the people I work with, but I can only take so much.
Gigi doesn't work on Wednesdays (lucky bitch) and it makes it *that* much harder not to snap at someone.
To top it all off, we found out yesterday what our Christmas presents are this year. Last year we got nice gift certificates to fancy local restaurants.
This year we are getting fruit baskets.

Fruit baskets? Well maybe they'll give you enough apples you can make a pie for WS? Or you could just throw the fruit at your bosses cars as you leave for the day.
We aren't getting anything this year. Sad. Not even our bonuses. Damn economy.

The last time we got a fruit basket, I took the cheese block and grated it for tacos. It was pretty good, in that government cheese kind of way;)
Maybe you should, "get the flu". We have no sick policy remember???
